"But even Bacchus boomeranged on us; we were finally struck down and left in terrified loneliness. 12&12, Step Five, p 57. I will invite participants let go of that terrified loneliness in an open discussion 12-Step meeting. I welcome the sober-curious, newcomers and old-timers. I will open the discussion with a reading from 12-Step Literature. My share will serve as an invitation for others to share their experience, strength, and hope in open discussion. The meeting format includes a Four Elements Prayer of Serenity and traditional readings from AA. At 45 minutes we will pause for a moment of divination. Attendees will be encouraged to share their experience with recovery and their personal spirituality, naming their ancestors, deities, etc, in prayer.
A gentle, all levels class of stretching and meditation designed to work the conference kinks out. Playlist will focus on witchy empowerment songs from the well known superhit W.I.T.C.H. by Devon Cole to the lesser known mystical stylings of Arkansas native S.J. Tucker. Bring your yoga mat or a towel and prepare to sit for a "spell."
Modern Mayan Magic informs the audience on the diverse ancient and contemporary spiritualities of the indigenous Maya people of Mesoamerica. Solomon Pakal is a generational urban Maya Brujo---Ajitz Balam of Kaqchikel descent with over two decades as a practitioner and heir of this Neo-tradition. Let us dispel misconceptions and arm audiences with the fundamentals of this Mesoamerican cosmogenesis.
A lot of guided meditation focuses on visual imagery. Other senses, such as smells, touch and taste can deepen the meditation. Beyond the enhancing of meditation for all, it can help those with aphantasia be included and learn to mediate with these meditation styles. This will be an expanded version of the one from last year, including a couple of techniques to use to expand techniques for grounding, ways to use this at home by yourself, and for people you know. I will also be running an expanded and extended meditation.
Many who have an inclination towards magic may not have a dedicated space set aside for performing spellwork and ritual. However, most of us have a front door, and it is here that we are invited to engage with and perhaps re-enchant a part of our homes which is often taken for granted. In this talk we will explore the front doorway of our home as a locus for spirit work, practical charming, and magical workings. We will examine diverse perspectives, folklore, and approaches towards engaging with our doorway as a nexus of power and potentiality. This work is practical, effective, and at times incredibly illuminating and enriching. And may be seen as an extension of working with and relating to the home as both a spiritual entity and an ecosystem of spirits that we might better know and form closer relations with.
As modern pagans, the diversity of our gods, systems, and practices is both a challenge and a strength. Rather than exacerbate differences, we should seek common ground to encourage a healthy and cohesive community. One thing many of us share is the presence of heroes in our mythologies. Central to the protection of humanity, these mighty warriors provide a cohesive undercurrent upon which we may build new avenues for community and communal practice. Please join us for an eclectic ritual honoring the various iterations of Pagan heroes, such as Sigurd the Dragon Slayer, Beowulf, Hercules, Cu Chulainn, and others. This ritual will involve several members of the Mystic South community, including Rev. Sr. Clio Ajana, Rev. Fr. Moonraven-luvantas, Jen Dodson, Atterkopp, Beofeld, and Sanat Kumara. Each participant will represent and invoke a hero relevant to their personal practice and/or pantheon and contribute to a communal altar-space.
You are not alone in the darkness. Rhiannon is a god who knows about riding the waves of grief, resilience, struggle, and sovereignty through the difficult seasons of life. Join us on a ritual journey to Rhiannon's well of healing, where you can make a gift of your grief and burdens, be healed by Otherworldly blackbird songs, and leave with a renewed sense of care and empowerment. Hosted by Jamie Waggoner and Izzy Swanson.

Whether you are a beginner or looking to deepen your connection, this workshop offers foundational tools to help you tune in and begin communicating with animals.
As a trained facilitator for the Robert Moss School of Active Dreaming, Nikki Wardwell Sleath will talk about an innovative way of working through dream material called the Lightning Dreamwork process. Participants will go through the steps of working a dream in this manner, working their own dream internally. Some dreams will be worked aloud with the group as time allows, and class will conclude with a fun synchronicity game using the dream material that will provide each participant an organic answer to the question "how can I connect more deeply to the earth at this time?"
The labyrinth is a powerful spiritual tool, a special type of maze with only one path leading surely to the center and safely back out again. It is especially connected with the ancient Minoans. As modern Pagans, we can reconnect with its potent symbolism via labyrinth-walking rituals. In this ritual, you'll meet Ariadne, the Lady of the Labyrinth; the Minotaur, the kindly Guardian of those who tread its winding paths; and the Serpent Mother, who is in a sense the Great Labyrinth itself. Discover the secrets of your own spiritual essence as you receive the gifts these deities have to offer you. Our floorcloth labyrinth has 36â€_x009d_ wide paths to accommodate wheelchairs and walkers, and we will have finger labyrinths available for those who prefer to remain seated but still participate. Come join us as we create new paths in life by walking a very, very old one!
For two years now a group has come together to celebrate our curves, lumps, and bumps and to fight a system that shames us via self-love and community. This process of creating our own sacred space, of community, love, sharing, support and healing, became a beautiful ritual once again in 2024. We want to create that sacred space again, to dive deeply into the love, healing, and revolution needed for body liberation in all spaces - from ritual to residential, classroom to coven! We will explore and celebrate shape with reflection, movement/music, and make time for everyone to share their feelings and experiences, as well as how these connect (or don't) with their ritual/spiritual experiences. And spend time talking about ways to advocate for accessibility for all bodies. Everyone is welcome, whether you were in previous circles or not!
An intro to Tantric Buddhist practices and their magical applications. We will look at core practices basic to all Buddhism such as Refuge, Bodhicitta, The Four Immeasurables, Mahamudra, and the Five Buddha Families. Making comparisons to basic magical practices, these will be viewed in light of the process of creating reality. The discussion will be followed by a short, guided meditation/awareness walking into the Pure Lands of the Buddha Fields.

Come explore how the things we do everyday in the 'burbs can naturally and very easily have a magickal element to them. How to make your morning coffee magick, how to not accidentally curse someone while you're driving, how to not dismiss yourself as a witch just because you wear yoga pants to get dressed up for the store and not for yoga. This workshop discusses a suburban witchcraft practice by offering spells, mantras and other tools. Suburban life experience is just as magickal and spiritual as any others. Join me as we discuss the many advantages of being the witch next door. We suburban witches absolutely have an equal place at the witchcraft table.
In ancient times people would journey great distances to places like Göbekli Tepe and Skara Brae, to maintain relationships with their extended families, friends, and allies. In this ritual, we who have traveled from near and far will recommit ourselves to our Gods and ancestors, to the land and the spirits of the land, to caring for ourselves and supporting each other as we move forward in these difficult times. Because we cannot , and will not, go back.
Come to a revelry for Pan, satyr-shaped Greek god of nature, wild things, border places, and music. Pan is a mixture of mayhem and melancholy, merriment and mysticism. A vessel of wisdom in his own way, Pan pushes those who encounter or call upon him to experience life more fully, and more intimately. Let us raise a ruckus! Tempest, Nathaniel, and Davis (The Mechanist & The Star Goddess) will lead the evening through improvisational music and dance that fuses together elements of Modern Traditional Witchcraft, Inspired World Music, and Ritual Performance.
Learn about energetic links we create between people, places and things. In this class author Sean Wilde explores links, cords and other ties that bind us together. Ethics of cord cutting will be discussed, and methods of removing links temporarily and permanently.
Highlights: * Learn how to sense energetic links * Learn how to protect yourself from energetic links * Learn how to block energetic links * Learn how to remove energetic links
Suitable for any level of practitioner, you will never look at links the same way again!
Join us to discuss what goes into creating Wiccan moon rituals for yourself, small groups, large groups and the public. Discussions will include a deep dive into creating sacred space for others, the special issues with creating online rituals, and mental visionary practices to working the energy in a ritual space. Workshop is based in British Traditional practices as well as on Lady Belladonna Laveau's WISE Wheel of the Year. The instructor coauthored the workbook of the same name with Lady Belladonna Laveau and currently teaches a year-long course at Woolston-Steen Theological Seminary (WSTS) on this topic.
Are you celebrating "Winter, Spring, Summer, Fall," when you live in: "Rainy, Hurricane, Dry, and, Fire Seasons." Would you like to connect with the Magic of the Land you Live on, rather than the land your ancestors came from? Would you like to work with your Animal Spirits and Ancestors, more than the Gods/Goddesses? Do you like the way an Altar looks, when doing ceremony? Then, this Path is for you. Rev. Whale Maiden was inspired to create the Earthways Shamanic Path which combines Core Shamanic Journeying (Animism and Ancestors), with Native American Spirituality in 2000. Learn how she developed the Wheel of the Year for this Path, how she calls in the Directions, sets up the Altar, and, the reason for/intent of the celebrations (observances) of each of the Seasons. All of Whale Maiden's workshops/ presentations are accompanied by some singing and drumming and/ or the use of rattles, journey-work, and time for journaling. Please bring notebook/sketch book, and pens/pencils/crayons.
First, we will craft a wand using materials we will provide. Each participant will be given a package containing a bamboo shaft, a crystal and herbs to place in the hollow of the wand. Next will consecrate our wands to empower them, with a simple rite that creates holy water or Aqua Sancta. Then we will share simple techniques that you can perform with your new wand. We will invoke all four elements and two of spirit with our new wands by drawing the appropriate pentagrams in the air and visualizing and feeling the elemental energies. The wand and a tie dye warp for it will be yours to keep.
The first 25 people who attend will receive a free wand kit to assemble during the workshop. Each kit has a Bamboo wand, a Quartz Crystal Point, a bag of herbs to place inside the wand, and a Tie Die bandanna to wrap your wand in.
