For many Pagans, our spiritual journeys did not start in Paganism. Rather, we began in a different religion, and later on transitioned over to Paganism, stemming from a desire to continue having a religious and spiritual path, but a path that better matches who we are and allows us to follow our own calling. Such a transition is rarely easy, and as Mika experienced firsthand when she began her path in 2023, it can force us to confront the hardships, disillusionment, and trauma we experienced as a result of our previous religion. Oftentimes these barriers are kept mentally buried away or unrealized until we're given the opportunity to break free from them. These shapeshifting warriors of Norse paganism and Germanic Heathenry have actual historical inspirations ranging from bear-wearing Germanic mercenaries of the Roman Empire to as far back as the Indo-European Mannerbund. The position of the moon in your natal chart can have many meanings in astrology, but for Witches and Pagans, it can be a powerful window into the aspects of the Goddess that speak most directly to you, and through you. Albertus Magnus, Joseph Smith, William Lilly, Paracelsus, Lorenzo de' Medici, Giordano Bruno, and Pope Urban VIII were practitioners. Codified in the Middle East, it was transmitted into Europe where it flourished for six centuries. Today it is undergoing a revival. In this class we will cover the history of this tradition as well as the writings, beliefs and practices of its disciples.
The Elder Futhark create a beautiful system of divination, though finding good information about them can be difficult - especially for queer, progressive, modern heathens and witches. Norse mythology includes an incredible diversity of gender and sexual expression, but this has been largely excluded from books published on contemporary heathenry or runic divination. Even worse, the runes have been wrongfully co-opted by white supremacists and heathens have to actively fight against this stereotype of the rune reader. In recent years, rune readers have been reclaiming the feminine side of the runes, bringing nuance to the craft. In this talk, Siri will explore the queer qualities of the runes through understanding pre-Christian Nordic gender concepts, translating that through a simulation and simulacra, and carving from this root culture a modern future-facing divination system.

How do we welcome disabled and chronically ill people into the Pagan and Earth-centered community? In this workshop, We'll examine how ableism, or prejudice and bias against disabled people, can show up in the Pagan community and how to build inclusive community that honors all abilities.
Delve into magical herbalism within the specific context of relationships with the Nordic elves, Hidden People (Huldufólk) and land spirits (landvaettir)! First, we will overview traditions of practitioners whose knowledge of magic and healing comes from collaboration with fairy-beings and clarify what qualifies some herbs as ˜fairy herbs'. A selection of three plants will be analyzed from a cross-cultural perspective to learn how they can act as either propitiatory or apotropaics, depending on context. Participants will be invited to journey to a liminal space to meet their herbalist teacher from among the álfar. The ensuing conclusions will then mould into guidelines for personal practice. This class aims to bring practical information to those interested in cultivating relationships with the Norse-Germanic elves and related beings. Whether you realize it or not, you're probably already familiar with scrying. From the infamous incantation, "Mirror, Mirror on the wall, who's the fairest of them all?" spoken by the evil queen in Snow White, to Galadriel's magical mirror pool that shows the past, present, and future in Lord of the Rings, to the popular (and creepy!) "Bloody Mary" sleepover game, scrying is part of our collective psyche. In this workshop, we will learn how to engage in three primary types of scrying: water, mirror, and flame. We'll discuss the basics of magical safety, discernment, interpretation, and ethics as they apply to these techniques. We will also cover how to intentionally open and close portals to help fine-tune and focus your chosen scrying medium. This is why it's important to have a working library of personal meanings for as many symbols as you can, common and more obscure. This workshop is designed to help you develop your knowledge of symbols in a fun and interactive way. Whether your chosen form of divination is Tarot, Oracle, Lenormand, Kipper, Charms, Tea Leaves or just good old fashioned psychic readings, the information in this workshop will help to add depth and detail to your readings, enhancing the experience for everyone involved.
First, we will craft a wand using materials we will provide. Each participant will be given a package containing a bamboo shaft, a crystal and herbs to place in the hollow of the wand. Next will consecrate our wands to empower them, with a simple rite that creates holy water or Aqua Sancta. Then we will share simple techniques that you can perform with your new wand. We will invoke all four elements and two of spirit with our new wands by drawing the appropriate pentagrams in the air and visualizing and feeling the elemental energies. The wand and a tie dye warp for it will be yours to keep.
The first 25 people who attend will receive a free wand kit to assemble during the workshop. Each kit has a Bamboo wand, a Quartz Crystal Point, a bag of herbs to place inside the wand, and a Tie Die bandanna to wrap your wand in.

This workshop had its origins in an ancient fragmentary document entitled the "Cauldron of Poesy". The text describes the human body as having three cauldrons and the relative position of these was thought to determine the overall health and state of mind of the person. We will take a look at each of these cauldrons and see how we can work with them to the benefit of our physical, emotional and spiritual health.
