About me
Laura Perry is an artist, writer, and the founder and Temple Mom of Ariadne’s Tribe. The Minoans of Bronze Age Crete have been a passion of hers since a fateful art history class introduced her to the colorful frescoes of ancient Knossos way back in high school. In addition to her work with the Tribe, Laura is a third degree Wiccan priestess, a Reiki master, and a longtime herbalist. Her recent book releases include the revised and expanded second edition of Ariadne’s Thread: Awakening the Wonders of the Ancient Minoans in Our Modern Lives and the Minoan-themed M/M romance among the bull leapers of Phaistos, Leap! A Love Story. She has also published Labrys & Horns: An Introduction to Modern Minoan Paganism, The Minoan Coloring Book, The Minoan Tarot, and the Minoan-themed historical novel The Last Priestess of Malia. When she’s not busy drawing, writing, or leading rituals and workshops, you can probably find her digging in the garden or giving a living history demonstration at a local historic site. Ask me about: the Bronze Age Mediterranean; Old Europe and Neolithic Anatolia; herbalism; animism; spirit work and psychopomping; ancestral reverence.
