Mystic South

Kara is the Dean of Woolston-Steen Theological Seminary and one of their faculty members. She is a 3rd Degree ordained minister of the Aquarian Tabernacle Church in the WISE Tradition. She holds a master's degree in education (M.Ed.), a Bachelor of Art in sociology, and a Bachelor of Ministry in Wiccan Ministry. She was a Laurel in the Society of Creative Anachronism and ran her own arts business as a professional belly dance instructor and performer for many years. In 2023 she was asked to choreograph historical dances for Spring Mysteries, a modern reconstruction of the Eleusynian Mysteries of Ancient Greece hosted by The Aquarian Tabernacle Church. Kara started with WSTS in 2009. She currently teaches both core curriculum as well as several electives. She is working to move WSTS forward in the process of achieving accreditation.
